How to save battery in Android Phones?

Believe it or not battery is one of the biggest issues in Android phones. If not taken proper care off a normal battery of 1200 mAh may last only 3-4 hours. Therefore it is important to know some simple yet useful ways of saving your battery henceforth increasing it's life.
There are several ways of saving battery some are quite simple and just requires common sense while for others you have ready made applications which takes good care of you battery.
These small yet useful tips make your battery life extend upto 70%.

Some useful methods/tips.

1. Set sleep mode.

Some of today's android phones have an inbuilt feature of setting a sleep mode i.e. a time after which the wireless services like WiFi,Bluetooth,Data connection will turn off automatically to save your battery. You can also use airplane mode which turns off all wireless signals including the  network signals but we recommend not to use airplane because you will not be able to get any calls and if it's an emergency and someone is trying to call you then it might not be good.

So use the sleep mode instead and save power.

2. Deactivate WiFi when not needed.

WiFi is one of the enemies of a battery, it practically sucks the battery and drains it out.

I personally recommend to use WiFi after you have connected your phone to a charger or you have a charger nearby.

So basically after using WiFi turn it off because you may think that the WiFi  is not in use if you aren't using it. But let me tell you, these androids are a bag full  of tricks so you never know what they are upto so it's better to turn the WiFi off after using.

3.Upload or sync files only using WiFi

If you are a keen Drop Box user, use WiFi instead of Data Pack. It is vastly quicker and effective. WiFi uses less battery than Data Pack and gives better results.

4.Uninstall unnecessary Apps

7.Turn off GPS

The availability of different processors will differ by market.
